Flights to Isle of Man

A flight from London to the Isle of Man takes approximately one hour and 20 minutes.

You can fly to the Isle of Man from London City Airport and London Heathrow Airport.

The most popular time of year to visit the Isle of Man is summer, when the weather is ideal for hiking, biking and swimming. Getting from the airport to the island’s centre is simple, whether you choose a taxi or a bus. Buses run frequently between the airport and Central Promenade, with a journey time of around 40 minutes. A taxi will get you there in about 15 minutes. Once you're on the island, getting around is easy thanks to a well-connected public transport system, including buses, a heritage railway, and taxis that operate across the island.

Travel in summer to visit the Calf of Man, a bird sanctuary off the southern coast. In the north Mooragh Pleasure Park offers a 12-acre boating lake, tennis courts and a bowling green, while for adrenaline seekers, Ape Mann Adventure Park features a rope course and a thrilling 300-foot zip wire.

Citizens of the UK and Ireland and EU passport holders do not need a visa to visit Isle of Man. If you hold a passport from a country or territory outside of these areas, you may need to apply for a visa before you travel.
