A flight from London to the Isle of Man takes approximately one hour and 20 minutes.
You can fly to the Isle of Man from London City Airport and London Heathrow Airport.
The most popular time of year to visit the Isle of Man is summer, when the weather is ideal for hiking, biking and swimming. Every season offers something different on the Isle of Man. Spring and summer are ideal for exploring the island’s glens and forests, when the woodland flowers are out and there’s an abundance of wildlife to see. The Snaefell Mountain Railway also runs between April and September.
Visit in autumn and winter for bracing walks along the coastal footpaths, cosy nights spent in the local pubs and a trip to the historic Gaiety Theatre, which first opened its doors in 1900.

Buses run frequently between the airport and Central Promenade, with a journey time of around 40 minutes. A taxi will get you there in about 15 minutes. Once you're on the island, getting around is easy thanks to a well-connected public transport system, including buses, a heritage railway, and taxis that operate across the island.

Citizens of the UK and Ireland and EU passport holders do not need a visa to visit Isle of Man. If you hold a passport from a country or territory outside of these areas, you may need to apply for a visa before you travel.
